Kasasa Saver

Not many people in your life will help you save money, except maybe a family member. That is why we offer Kasasa Saver. This account is linked with a Kasasa Cash Checking account. It will help you build your savings by automatically taking the rewards you earn each qualifying month in Kasasa Checking and transferring them to your Kasasa Saver account. In addition, the Saver account will earn a higher dividend rate than our Regular Share Savings Account.

There are no extra qualifications to get the Kasasa Saver reward rate. If you qualify for Kasasa Checking rewards, you automatically get the Saver rate too! Simply do the following each monthly qualification cycle:

  • Have at least 10 debit card purchases post and settle
  • Be enrolled and receive eStatements
  • Have a confirmed valid email address

If you don't meet the qualifications, don't worry. There's no penalty and the account will earn our base rate dividends. Plus, you can get back to earning the full rewards the very next month.

*APY=Annual Percentage Yield. APYs accurate as of 08/01/2016. Rates may change after account is opened. Minimum to open is $5 for Kasasa Saver. If qualifications in Kasasa Cash Checking are met each monthly qualification cycle: (1)balances up to $15,000 in Kasasa Saver receive an APY of 1.25%; and (2) balances over $15,000 in Kasasa Saver earn 0.50% dividends on portion of balance over $15,000, resulting in 1.25% -0.60% APY depending on the balance. If qualifications are met in Kasasa Cash each monthly qualification cycle: (1) Domestic ATM fees incurred during qualification cycle will be reimbursed and credited to Kasasa Cash account on the last day of monthly statement cycle; (2) balances up to $15,000 in Kasasa Cash receive APY of 2.50%; and (3) balances over $15,000 in Kasasa Cash earn 0.50% dividends on the portion of the balance over $15,000, resulting in 2.50% - 0.76% APY depending on the balance. If qualifications are not met on Kasasa Cash, all balances in Kasasa Saver earn 0.05% APY. Qualifying transactions must post to and settle Kasasa Cash account during monthly qualification cycle. Transactions may take one or more banking days from the date transaction was made to post to and settle account. ATM-processed transactions do not count towards qualifying debit card transactions. "Monthly Qualification Cycle" means a period beginning one day prior to the first day of the current statement cycle through one day prior to the close of the current statement cycle. The advertised Kasasa Cash APY is based on compounding dividends. Dividends earned in Kasasa Cash are automatically transferred to Kasasa Saver each statement cycle and does not compound. Actual dividend amount paid may be less than advertised Kasasa Cash APY. The Kasasa Saver APYs may be less than Kasasa Cash APYs. Limit one account per Social Security Number. ATM receipt may be required for reimbursement of an individual ATM fee of $5.00 or higher.
